Brew Dog Aberdeen

If you are a connoisseur of fine hand-crafted beers, Brew Dog is the place to visit. From the flagship Punk IPA down to the small batch craft beers that it offers, each one has a different taste, and many are pretty strong. No chemicals or preservatives, just barley, hops, yeast, and water – and as they say – mind-blowing flavour!

The Tippling House

There’s nothing like a good tipple when you’re thirsty, and this underground cavern is just the place to be if you are a night owl. Apart from Saturdays when it opens at 1.00 pm, the rest of the week the fun doesn’t start until 4.00 pm but goes on until 2.00 or 3.00 in the morning.

The Grill

Starting life in 1870 as a restaurant, The Grill evolved into a pub, so if you want a meal don’t come here. However, if you are a lover of all things whisky this will suit you down to the ground. A vast range of almost 600 malts and whiskies from Scotland and around the world, together with cask ales and beers.

Ninety-Nine Bar and Kitchen

In the city centre is Ninety Nine Bar and Kitchen, offering music, liquor, fun, and food. A huge choice of different cocktails such as Smoking Bishop, El Presidente, Dr Sylvuis De Bouve, The Dahl, Sazerac, and Keeper Of The Jackalopes are among many you have never heard of but well worth a try.

Krakatoa

The volcano exploded in 1883, but Krakatoa in Guild Street exploded on to the Aberdeen scene a lot later. Claiming to be Aberdeen’s only authentic tiki dive bar serving tiki cocktails in a way that only they know how. Gigs from 9.00pm to 11.00pm on Friday and Saturday nights.

Dusk Cocktail Bar

Situated in the centre of the West End this bar serves a mix of specialist cocktails “muddled and mixed together” by their expert bartender whose knowledge is legendary. The name says it all: it doesn’t open until 5.00 pm but goes on very late.
