Underground music in an underground setting. This is an intimate basement club offering an eclectic mix of music from visiting DJ’s and groups. Alternative dance, rock, and Indie feature strongly. Although it’s small it never gets too over-crowded.
Go here on a Friday night and everything is 50% off until midnight. They say “If you can buy it, it’s half price.” They offer Shisha, which traditionally is a flavoured tobacco filtered through water and smoked through a pipe. However, they have an e-Shisha which is completely nicotine and tobacco free. Now that IS different!
Voodoo Bar And Cocktail Lounge
It’s a café, a lounge, and cocktail bar. And it’s run by local residents! Full Monty large English breakfast is just £6.95 and includes juices and all the hot drinks you wish. The lounge area has two large settees. Pictures by local artists are on the walls.
Set in a rambling sprawl of six railway arches, this has a Monday Night Madness session with three rooms of music, bottles of wine for a fiver, a tequila hour, and inflatables! How much more mad could you possibly get?
