There’s an underwater adventure for everyone in Jamaica, whether you are used to just dipping your toes in or if you’re a complete pro amongst the waves. Snorkeling, scuba diving and surfing are just some of the watersports offered along the islands coastline.

Tubing and rafting are also popular with adventurers looking to try something different. You can dive through jungle terrain and enjoy the natural beauty of the island.

If golfing is one of your passions, you certainly won’t be disappointed with the island’s offering. With 12 courses including championship courses boasting unbeatable ocean views, there’s something suitable for all players.

Where to Eat:

Jamaica is well known for its exotic and delicious dishes. While on the island, it is essential that you try the local cuisine. Fruit, vegetables, meat and seafood are all typically grown and sourced by the regional farmers in Jamaica.

Jerk-seasoned dishes, usually pork or chicken, are perhaps the most renowned. Be careful though, as some really do pack a punch! Ackee, a locally-grown fruit, and saltfish is also one of the island’s specialities.

Situated within a double houseboat in the middle of a lagoon, you’ll find The Houseboat Grill. It’s the perfect place to enjoy tropical starters and French-inspired main courses in a tranquil setting.

Jack Sprat in Treasure Beach offers a truly authentic vibe with reggae music and walls filled with album covers. You can enjoy the sea’s finest catches here, cooked with local spices to produce magnificent flavours.
