What to Do:

Santorini - think cliff top villages and whitewashed houses against the azure blue sea, and blissful infinity pools seamlessly blending into the horizon. It’s so easy to imagine yourself here, sipping on a cocktail without a care in the world.

The spectacular views at the top are like no other! The main town, Hóra, also has plenty to offer including an impressive 11th century monastery, Hozoviotissa, which boats a dramatic cliffside location.

Where to Eat:

Santorini is renowned for its distinctive flavours and fresh ingredients. You can enjoy the best seafood at To Psaraki, which overlooks the island’s main fishing port. Stick to affordable mezédes, small tapas-like dishes which include delicious daily specials for an truly authentic meal.

Mouragio is a fish tavern situated in Katapola, Amorgos, with unbeatable views of the port. It serves seafood delicacies and traditional Greek cuisine, along with great appetisers and drinks.

Where to Drink:

The oldest jazz bar in Santorini, Kira Thira, is popular with both tourists and locals. Live music is regularly performed here and it has a great atmosphere, both during the day and throughout the evening as the sun goes down. It’s speciality is sangria, which is particularly delicious!

The party begins after midnight at Koo Club and Enigma Club, which both serve delicious cocktails and are frequently home to famous Greek and international performers during the Summer months.

Where to Stay:

Perivolas, a selection of studios and suites carved from the cliffs in Santorini, are almost as breathtaking as their views overlooking the sea. The infinity pool is the main attraction here, along with the tranquil setting away from the bustling beaches below. Rooms start from £445 per night.

Hotels in Amorgos are numerous and vary in accommodation type. In Katapola, the main port of the island, you can find small, locally-owned hotels situated in renovated Cycladic buildings.
